Our Troops

image0011.jpg

This is an album dedicated to our Troops. We have left off their names, their Stations and the Country that they are in for their protection. Some of the fighting men and women have never received any mail from anyone. So, Please continue your wonderful work of making these postcards so no one is left out of receiving mail from the USA.
We wish the Troops God Speed and to come home safe!

CHRISTMAS AND CHANNUKAH 2009

DSCN3815.JPG

We make for our Troops tiny postcard sized quilts.
These are made by quilters from all over America. With every stitch and with every word inscribed, they all come from the heart. This is a quilters' way of saying to each of the Troops that we honor you, we support you, we pray for you and we love you all. We wish you God Speed and to come home safe. Not only at Christmas, but with every group of quilted postcards we make for our Troops for all the occasions, this is the wish that goes with the cards. At this time of year, we also wish joy, happiness, peace and love to each Troop for they give from their heart to us---our Freedom! We are so honored to have these brave men and women to preserve our Freedom!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FABRIC POSTCARDS FOR OUR TROOPS !

DSCN3565.JPG

Everyone has a birthday one day each year---ok---except for the leap year babies. It would be fun to send fabric postcards that are Birthday cards to the troops. The troops are like our extended family and this would be a great surprise for them to get birthday cards from America! We celebrate other Holidays with them---and this would be no different. They would think that this is great that America remembers them for their birthday. If you send a sheet of birthday wrapping paper with the cards, we would be happy to wrap them up individually and send them on their way to the different Stations. Please don't send candles---they would melt in the heat before they reach their destination---In the desert, it can get to 120 degrees F.
